Chashaku - Matcha Bamboo Scoop

This bamboo matcha scoop is perfect for a Japanese match tea ceremony. It is the traditional tool used to measure powdered tea to make Matcha. A firm stalk of bamboo if split and curved at the end using pressurized steam and a lot of patience. Note: the bamboo scoop shouldn’t become wet – please wipe the bamboo scoop always with a dry clean cloth.
